The international "if" advertising campaign is targeted to English-speaking business audiences and opinion leaders in Asia and Latin America, using the same "guarantees for the if in life" theme.

MetLife participated in "The 20th International Travel Expo Hong Kong"
Jun 17-18, 2006

In the 20th International Travel Expo Hong Kong held on June 17-18 2006 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, Metropolitan Life Insurance Company of Hong Kong Limited offered free 7-days travel personal accident coverage as well as souvenirs to expo visitors who registered at the MetLife counter.

MetLife participated in "Financial World Expo 2005" Jun 17-18, 2006

Metropolitan Life Insurance Company of Hong Kong Limited participated in the second annual Financial World Expo organized by the Institute of Financial Planners of Hong Kong at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The 2005 Expo attracted over 24,000 visitors.

In addition to the exhibition booth highlighting the strength and financial planning capabilities of the MetLife companies, MetLife held four seminars inside the exhibition hall and attracted over 500 individual and institutional visitors. MetLife was also invited to participate in the Billion Dollars Showdown on the topic of wealth protection and retirement planning, and it was broadcasted by Metro Finance Radio at prime time on the following day.

Being the platinum exhibitors of the 3-day exhibition, MetLife was also the diamond sponsor of the Consumer Education Corner, which introduced the financial planning concept and financial health check in a fun way.

MetLife participated in "The International Baby/Children Products Expo"

Aug 6 - 8, 2005

Metropolitan Life Insurance Company of Hong Kong Limited participated in "The International Baby/Children Products Expo" which was held at the Hong Kong Exhibition and Convention Center from August 6, 2005 to August 8, 2005. MetLife held a lucky draw everyday during the expo; and every participant was offered a Snoopy gift and also automatically entered the "Jumbo Draw" by MetLife to win cash coupons.

MetLife's exhibition booths in the expo were decorated with Peanuts characters which are well-received by both children and parents. Over the years, Snoopy serves as an ambassador for the MetLife companies to show the companies' focus on caring and friendly service, commitment and trustworthiness.
