In Hong Kong, we offer individual life, investment-linked insurance plan, accident and health insurance products through bancassurance, strategic alliance and direct marketing channels.

1995	Metropolitan Life Insurance Company of Hong Kong Limited was established, as a wholly-owned subsidiary of MetLife, Inc. in Hong Kong
2001	The predecessor of MetLife Limited - Citi Fubon Life Insurance Company Hong Kong Limited, a joint venture between Citigroup and Fubon Group, was incorporated in Hong Kong
July 2005	50% shares of Citigroup in Citi Fubon Life Insurance Company Hong Kong Limited was acquired by the MetLife companies
Nov 2006	Citi Fubon Life Insurance Company Hong Kong Limited was formally renamed as MetLife Fubon Limited
May 2007	Metlife Fubon Limited was relocated to Taikoo Shing - same office of Metropolitan Life Insurance Company of Hong Kong Limited
June 2007	MetLife companies further acquired the remaining 50% shares of MetLife Fubon Limited held by Fubon Group. MetLife Fubon Limited became a wholly-owned subsidiary of MetLife companies
March 2008	MetLife Fubon Limited was formally renamed as MetLife Limited Both Metropolitan Life Insurance Company of Hong Kong Limited and MetLife Limited are operated under MetLife brand
