4 Policy Terms for Easy Choice
The Plan offers 4 policy terms for you to choose from: 10 years, 15 years, 20 years and 25 years. You can pick one to suit your protection needs for peace of mind. 

Comprehensive Life Protection at an Affordable Premium
The Plan is designed to offer you a high level of protection at a lower premium. The premium is level and will not change throughout the policy term, enabling you to plan your finances ahead. For example, for a non-smoking 30-year-old male who is in good health, it costs as little as around HK$7.6¹ a day to enjoy the 10-year term life protection with a sum assured of HK$3,500,000.

Automatic Renewal and Convertibility Guaranteed² for Peace of Mind
We understand your protection needs may vary at different stages in your life. That’s why the Plan offers you the flexibility to extend your protection period. We guarantee you can renew your policy at the end of the policy term automatically regardless of the state of your health before reaching the last renewal age of the policy. The premium will be adjusted at the policy renewal date to reflect your age at the time.

What’s more, you can also enjoy the guarantee of switching the policy to any whole life insurance plan before the age of 65. With the guaranteed convertibility³, you may furnish your loved ones with lifetime protection to suit your needs without further underwriting.

Hassle-free Simplified Underwriting Option 
You can enjoy a simplified underwriting⁴ process with no medical examination required for a sum assured up to HK$2,000,000, making the application hassle-free. You can go for a higher sum assured with the full underwriting process for enhanced protection, while the medical examination may be waived⁴ for insured persons at designated issue ages with the sum assured between HK$2,000,000 and HK$3,000,000.

Additional Benefit for Enhanced Protection
For your enhanced protection, the Plan also provides free Accidental Total and Permanent Disability Benefit. In the unfortunate event of total and permanent disability of the insured person as a result of an accident, an extra lump sum of HK$100,000 will be provided to ease the financial burden.

• The Plan is an insurance plan with no savings element. All premiums pay for the insurance and related costs. If you are not happy with your policy, you have the right to cancel it within the Cooling-off Period and obtain a refund of any premiums paid provided that you have not made any claims under the policy. A written notice signed by you together with the policy must be received by Metropolitan Life Insurance Company of Hong Kong Limited at its Hong Kong office within the Cooling-off Period (that is, 21 days after the delivery of the policy or the issue of a Notice informing you/your representative about the availability of the policy and the expiry date of the Cooling-off Period, whichever is earlier). If you cancel the policy after the expiration of the Cooling-off Period, you will not obtain a refund of any premiums paid.
